A pantheon of "maneki neko" – a feline figurine commonly believed to bring good fortune in East Asian cultures.
The cats are arranged in concentric circles populated with units of diminishing size. The piece explores the expression of the sacred within the quotidian in Asian cultures through devices of multiplicity and geometry; and iconicity as a vehicle of worldly aspiration.
