Desktop application for high-volume shippers.
The objectives of the project were to:
1) Develop a common application interface design to support varying business requirements per geography, and a range of user contexts, shipping patterns, and business processes
2) Improve efficiency & reduce transaction time
3) Increase adoption & reduce training time by making the application intuitive, appealing, intuitive, and compelling
4) Research and define user personas to form the basis for future development of the EasyShip product suite
The solution combined best practices from the design of powerful desktop applications and intuitive web 2.0 behaviors to deliver a modular, customizable, and easy-to-use interface that supported a range variation in users shipping task flows
